"Why Call, When You Can Text!" >>> Texture/Color Study Process

This was our second day making textures with colors. I ran into some that turned out really cool, and some not so neat. I guess that's the reason for the huge amount of textures we are going to end up with. My colors are blues, pinks, and browns. These are some of the textures I have created.

I have stuck 3D objects onto some, painted some, and blobbed some. I am trying to get more of a variety of textures. I started off dabbing them all. So I made some that were swiped with objects. Then Kathy mentioned many of mine still had white showing...a little too much. So she mentioned using brown papers and napkins. So I began doing some of my textures with brown paper behind them. I am going to look for some pink and blue papers too!

The stack of all of my textures is growing. I am still discovering new ways of doing all of them. I have looked around the room to get inspirations too. One thing I will bring to class with my on Thursday is a needle!

This is all my paint I'm using! I already have many different shades of them all, but I need to mix a few to develop new colors.
