Life drawing - week 7

We only had one day of drawing this week and I produced two drawings. I love how my shading turned out on this one. I got more time to spend on it than I ever have before which really seemed to help me. This was the best of the week.

 


This one I left unblended to make it look rough with my marks showing.

Digital Art- Vector Image

This was created in Illustrator using an image from the internet. We just simply traced the image in Illustrator to make this effect. It was really easy to do, but looks like it would be hard. I chose Paul McCartney for my Mom. I know she loves him and will probably enjoy to see this! 

Graphic Design - Designing With Type

Our graphic design project where we had to use a specific font and manipulate the characters according to the problem that was given. I really enjoyed this project, and felt like I came up with some very unique solutions to the problem. 

Life drawing - skeleton hand

Here is my skeleton hand drawing where we used conte on colored paper. The conte is difficult to work with and does not like to be smoothed out very good. 

Painting - Quarantine

An 18 x 24 inch oil painting on canvas. I titled it "Quarantine" and actually entered it in to a scholarship contest, so I could maybe win!

Life drawing - week 6

Some gestures we did in class. We worked on them much longer than usual but turned out quite neat looking.



A full value that I thought was the best of the week. My proportions are more accurate now and I'm getting a better feel for the charcoal.
