Life drawing - week 5

We only had one day to draw this week :(. Class was cancelled Tuesday since the model did mot show up. So I really only had two drawings to choose from and I thought this one was better. I feel like my drawings are improving but still have a lot to go. Next week I will try another method yet again.

Digital Art - Urban Geometry

This was an urban geometric piece we created in illustrator. Perspective is a very tricky thing but I finally figured out hoe to accomplish it. I really like the color scheme that I used in this, I feel like they all compliment each other well. I personally liked the geometric pieces that used all lines, and no 3D boxes or triangles. I feel like this way gives the piece more depth and character.

Digital Art - Color wheel

We practiced with illustrator and created a color wheel using brush strokes. We had to create a color wheel, rectangle, and line all using the brush stroke. It looks a little strange but I learned about a lot of new tools to use!

Painting - skin tone practice

We practiced painting skin tones which was hard to do. I picked Taylor swift to paint but have her brown hair after realizing I do not like painting blondes. This was just a practice trial and are about to begin a new finished painting

Graphic design - 50 ways of seeing

Our first graphic design was about choosing a word and displaying it in 50 different ways. I used the word "delicate" and came up with some unique ideas of the word. Very interesting project that really taught me to look past your first thought.
