Life drawing - week 4

This is my best drawing from Tuesdays class. I was using graphite the entire class and was not too pleased with my results.

This was from today's class. It's not one of my best but I like the use of values I used here.

This was from today's class and is my best of the week. Each drawing I do I have been changing my technique to find what helps me the best. After this drawing I found that I like charcoal and beginning my drawing with short small gestures.

Digital Art - duplication and the pen tool

We produced several thumbnails of animals that we hand drew to reflect the other side (which are posted previous on my blog). This is my final animal that I ended up with. It is a leopard, but has some twists to it. THis was made in Adobe Illustrator using mainly the open tool, but also several other shapes. I had been scared of the pen tool, but I understand it much more now. I really like how my leopard turned out, he is very interesting and exotic looking!

Digital art - blend tool to animate

We used the blend tool in illustrator to make an animation of moving objects. This all began as three objects : a square, polygon, and circle and it transforms between the three. This tool is quite amazing!

Painting - using color

Day one of using the colored oil paints

This was our second day using color. It is manipulated much different than black and white but I am beginning to get the feel for it. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Digital art - illustrator practice

We practiced using the shape tools to create some simple cubes. They turned out interesting but my favorite is the one with various line edits. It reminds me of an Eco friendly logo.
