"Painting Lyrics" >>> Marks, Music, and Words Process

After WASH I did my sketches for the Marks, Music, and Words Project. I ended up choosing the 9th Method. It involved placing tape onto the paper and taking it off after you painted your page. I felt like this one would look really cool, and it does to me. But some of my paintings i did, i think may look even sweeter if they do not have a patch of paint missing from them. But they reminded me of some of Howard Sherman's paintings, since he would draw a piece of tape instead of actually using one.

I have posted some of my favorite ones that i ended up making, but I ended up making a total of 16 different sketches. And after adding up all of my music time, it was about an hour and 5 minutes of painting these lyrics. I chose to listen to The All American Rejects; I do not have a very many full hours of music for a one single singer. But I did for the All American Rejects. And here are some of my favorite paintings:

Song: Damn Girl
Time: 4 minutes
Used: chopstick

Song: Another Heart Calls
Time: 4 minutes 30 seconds
Used: crumbled bag

Song: Breakin
Time: 5 minutes
Used: pen tip

Song: Move Along
Time: 4 minutes 30 seconds
Used: chopstick

Song: The Wind Blows
Time: 4 minutes 30 seconds
Used: sugar packet

Song: Back To Me
Time: 4 minutes 30 Seconds
Used: chopstick

They all turned out very cool, and some of these I want to make a larger version similar to them, because they look so neat to me. And i began looking through my room, kitchen , bathroom, everything I can think of to collect objects for Thursday's class day. I already have a bag filled with different objects, and I am still out on the hunt.
