"The Final Four" >>> top 4 dot sketches

There was much discussion over my final four sketches in class on Tuesday. All four of the sketches chosen were my favorite four as well. It is going to be very tough to decide which of the four to choose as my number one. But first I had to refine these four sketches. This is a picture of my sketches in class as I was in the process of refining the four.

And ta-da! My final four sketches are done!

Proximity Sketch: It did not need refined at all. I love how simple it is. The dots do not overpower the picture at all. After all, "Less is More!"

Similar/Difference Sketch: I refined this sketch by making the center circle larger, and two of them smaller than they were before, and also making some circles the same sizes as its pair. I really like this sketch as well, it looks like different planets circling the sun to my eyes.

Closure: This is one of my favorite sketches. I had to refine it by placing the two smaller dots in the exact same position to the larger ones. And I left one of them out, making your eye place a dot above the lonely circle.

Continuance: Last but not least, my continuance circle was another simple, yet unique sketch. It keeps my eyes off of the page. But I did not enjoy continuance quite as much as the other modes.
